Mrs. Duvally

Happy Advent!

The weeks are passing quickly! The weather is getting colder and the season of Advent is upon us.  It is time to prepare for the birth of Our Lord.  In the coming weeks the children will be finding ways to prepare their hearts and minds for Christmas.
Students in 6D will be asked to give up a part of their allowance or some snack money to contribute to charities that help children who are less fortunate.
The children may bring in a Christmas stocking to hang in our classroom.  We will chose names for a Secret Santa around Thursday, December 14.

Students are busy learning about Poland as we prepare projects for Poland Day on January 10, 2018.
Students should also be working on their Science/STEM Fair project for the ASR Science Fair during Catholic Schools Week in January.
Please contact me if your have questions or concerns.

There is a 12:00 dismissal on Friday, December 1st, 2017.  School is closed on Friday, December 8th, 2017 for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
Report cards will be going home on Tuesday, December 12th.  Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, December 13th and Thursday, December 14th.

Mrs. Duvally's Class

I am thrilled to be teaching our 5th and 6th graders again this year!  I love All Saints Regional Catholic School and I am proud of the wonderful ways that we continue to grow and change. This is my fourteenth year teaching here.  Both of my children graduated from All Saints.  The excellent education they received prepared them well and has brought them much success through high school and college.

I graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and earned my Master's Degree in Education from Hofstra University.

I will be teaching Religion, Science and Language Arts.  Please see class pages and the subject calendar for future information.
I can't wait to get started.   I am looking forward to a wonderful year of discovery!
